Airtel Night plan introduced few months ago has been one of the best data plan for unlimited download and it has been saving heavy downloaders since 1900BC. You’ll all bear me witness that you have enjoyed unlimited 1hour uninterrupted download with N100 and 2hours unlimited download with N200 but it seems the big boys Airtel are not too comfortable with that, hence deem it fit to scrap the unlimited.

And replace it with 500MB for N25 and 1.5GB for N50 valid for one single night at the Hour of 12:00AM – 5AM.

It started with Glo, then MTN and now Etisalat have joined in the league of those offering 1.5GB data at N1000. Other plans have been reviewed also. 3.5gb data is now N2000. We’re now waiting for Airtel to put some icing on the cake of their N1000 data. No dulling.
I think this is a welcome development. Let’s hope it only gets better.
However, 5gb data and 8gb data remain ridiculously exorbitant at N6500 and N8000 respectively.

Mtn are truely Desperate nowadays and it really getting out of hand with this their Data plans and they are the best for now.

Few weeks ago, MTN dropped varieties of codes for new data plans they just introduced which make everybody thrill that the giant network provider is back to the competition, we have saw the likes of network provider such has Airtel and Glo having cheap Data.
Now its MTN turn, has they introduced #25 for 500mb via midnight has part of there cheap
Data plan they introduced which is timed to start from 12am to 4am each night.

It is no more news that NTEL has acquired the assets, that was previously owned by NITEL/MTel (Nigeria’s national fixed and mobile operators).

 

Some of the assets include; Operating Licenses (National Carrier; International Gateway; and Mobile.), Spectrum (Cellular on 900/1800/1900 MHz; and shared microwave), International Connectivity (part of SAT-3/WASC/SAFE submarine cable system and complete ownership of the Lagos Cable Landing Station),  Local Connectivity (Metro-fibre ducts and Intercity fibre rights of way), • Infrastructure (Tower sites; telephone exchanges; and satellite earth stations)
